For this Middleburg, Virginia rehearsal dinner and welcome party, we leaned into the timeless elegance of Virginia Hunt Country with a Ralph Lauren–inspired wedding design that felt layered, collected, and perfectly suited to the winter season. Rich navy velvet, emerald green, tartan accents, blue-and-white toile, and classic chinoiserie vessels created a sophisticated foundation, while pleated tabletop lamps, wreaths tied to dining chairs, seasonal greenery, and warm candlelight brought an intimate, residential quality to the celebration. Hosted among the vineyards and wine barrels of Middleburg, the evening was designed to feel festive without becoming overtly Christmas-themed—incorporating subtle holiday references through texture, color, seasonal cocktails, and elevated winter bites. The result was a warm and polished Hunt Country welcome party that balanced traditional equestrian style with fresh, editorial details and an effortlessly chic sense of hospitality.
